Understand the responsibilities of organizations and local businesses using the DoAFundraiser campaign and printed-card workflow.
Use accurate campaign information
Organizations are responsible for the names, descriptions, campaign purposes, prices, and distribution details they provide to supporters. Keep account access private and use the application only to manage a campaign you are authorized to represent.
Organization responsibilities
The organization creates and manages its campaign, selects an available card package, reviews advertiser submissions, and decides whether offers appear on the card. It sets its own supporter communications and is responsible for explaining card pricing and the use of proceeds.
Business offer responsibilities
A business should submit accurate information and offer terms, and provide artwork only when it has permission to use it. The business is responsible for honoring the offer the organization approves. Cardholders should read any restrictions printed on the card.
Orders and payment processing
Package details and amounts are shown in the checkout flow before an organization confirms an order. Payment is handled through the configured payment provider. Provider terms may also apply to the checkout, and an organization should contact the campaign administrator with order questions.
No promised fundraising outcome
The platform provides campaign and card tools; it does not guarantee business participation, card sales, offer redemption, or a particular amount raised. Campaigns and offers remain subject to their visible details and the decisions of the participating organization and business.
