Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about campaign setup, local-business offers, printed cards, offer terms, and the responsibilities of participating organizations.

How does a DoAFundraiser campaign work?

An organization creates a campaign, chooses an available card package, invites local businesses to submit offers, and reviews those submissions before the printed card is prepared. The organization decides how to price and distribute its cards.

Who can create a campaign?

The current workflow is for schools, sports teams, churches, and community organizations. An organization account is required to create and manage a campaign.

How many business offers can a campaign include?

The current campaign flow provides twelve ad positions. Actual availability depends on the campaign, and each submitted offer must be reviewed and approved by the organization.

Does DoAFundraiser guarantee fundraising results?

No. Sales, participation, offer use, and fundraising outcomes depend on the organization and its community. DoAFundraiser does not promise a particular amount of sales or funds raised.

Who sets the card price and distributes the cards?

The organization manages its own fundraising plan, including card pricing and distribution. It should explain the price, campaign purpose, and use of proceeds directly to supporters.

Who is responsible for a business offer?

The business submits the offer and is responsible for honoring its terms after the organization approves it. Cardholders should read the restrictions printed on the card before using an offer.

Where can I ask about a specific campaign?

Contact the organization named on the campaign. The organization manages its campaign details, supporter communications, pricing, and distribution.
